Smoothies and shakes are nutritious alternatives to healthy weight loss diet. They’re packed with fruits, veggies, and vitamins and are easy to make as well.
1/4 cup mango cubes
1/4 cup mashed ripe avocado
1/2 cup mango juice
1/4 cup fat-free vanilla yoghurt
1tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp. sugar
6 ice cubes
Blend these ingredients until smooth, pour yourself a glass, garnish if desired.
Spinach Flax Protein Shake
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any kind)
1 large handful organic baby spinach, washed
1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
1/4 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 of a banana, fresh or frozen
1 tbsp flax meal (optional)
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
Combine these ingredients until smooth.
Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie
1/2 cup skim or soy milk
6 oz. vanilla yoghurt
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 cup fresh raspberries
A handful of ice or an extra 1 cup frozen raspberries
Blend until smooth and enjoy your high-fibre chocolate dessert.
