The Indian government has announced that a negative Covid19 RT-PCR test result has to be submitted via the online portal Air Suvidha if you are travelling to India from other countries. The new guidelines, which came into effect today, excludes passengers on flights from the UK, Europe and Middle East, who have to take another test mandatory on landing.
For passengers from the UK, Middle East and Europe, another test will be mandatory on landing. Transit travellers who have a Covid19 negative result can board their next flight with a seven-day home quarantine requirement followed by another test at the end of it. The rule could be exempted only for the ones travelling due to a death in the family but the exemption has to be sought at least 72 hours before boarding.
